Oh, I can't wait to listen to and watch the new episode. One thing that always held me back was thinking that "if I am one thing, I can't do anything else." Then we ran into people who are CEOs and also work in a bookshop, or someone who is an engineer but also has a podcast about food. For real, I never thought we could be both and be good at both. It's like my mind was full of "you can only do this one thing and don't have any hobbies or think about other stuff," and seeing the recommendations here is refreshing.

Thank you for sharing Rod! And I totally get it. It’s also part of what’s held me back before - “that’s not what I do” or “that’s not what I’m good at”. It’s freeing to realise you can be and do multiple things at once, and that trying something new doesn’t mean abandoning who you already are. Especially when you feel that pull to do something new, personally I say just do it and see what happens!

Totally Rod! We need to move away from the industrial age dogma, we can actually be a master of many trades. I often try to feature such PolyPaths in my articles, you might enjoy reading about Nathan Myrhvold https://open.substack.com/pub/apoorvaadeshpande/p/renaissance-man-of-today
